This policy explains how Mehndisathi handles information when you use our website, marketplace services, administrative support, or official WhatsApp account.
Information we collect
- Account and profile details that you provide, such as your name, role, language preference, contact details, and service interests.
- WhatsApp identifiers, message content, attachments, interaction choices, delivery status, and conversation timestamps.
- Marketplace information needed to respond to enquiries, connect users with artists or tutors, and support bookings or service requests.
- Security and technical records used to protect the service, investigate failures, and prevent abuse.
How we use information
We use information to provide and improve Mehndisathi, answer messages, identify what kind of help you need, continue conversations in your preferred language, route a conversation to an administrator, maintain service reliability, and meet legal or safety obligations.
WhatsApp and service providers
Messages are transmitted through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. We also use hosting, database, security, and other technology providers only as needed to operate the service. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. We do not sell personal information.
Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including support continuity, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention periods can vary by record type. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it using reasonable operational processes.
Security
We use access controls, encrypted storage for sensitive conversation data, webhook signature checks, restricted administrative access, and other reasonable safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information associated with you. You may also stop messaging us or block the business account in WhatsApp. Some information may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, or the establishment or defence of claims.
Children
Mehndisathi is not intended to collect personal information from children without appropriate permission from a parent or guardian. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information inappropriately.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as the service develops. We will publish the effective date on this page and provide additional notice when required.
